Good Morning! I feel good today, hooray!
I went to bed around 2 a.m. last night and even though I slept like shit (I have no idea why, I was either hot or cold all night) I feel really peppy this morning. I'm glad I started this diet during a long weekend and not during the week... I wouldn't wanted to have been at work during those days I felt like crap so badly.
Now the big challenge is keeping the diet going at work. I'm a junk-machine monster normally. I normally hit the coffee machine and snack machines at least 10 times a day. That's going to be quite the change in habits (though since I just started working here, it won't be THAT hard to change). I had a nice breakfast again this morning (eggs,bacon,tomato) so that should tide me over, but I can feel that morning chocolate-croissant thing calling to me from the basement. Ugh!
Addiction is such an interesting thing. They do take a lot of quick coffee breaks here, so I brought my sacharrin tablets with me to work to plop in a nice hot cup of decaf. That should solve that problem, the rest of the day is playing it by ear. Hopefully, it won't be too hard and they'll serve steak or something for lunch here. But we'll see. With my luck it'll be pasta and paella day.
