Today seems like a good day
...to mess with my blog.
Old permalinks should still work, but new ones will be shorter. Let's see if Google pays attention. I also just did a mysqldump of all my posts (915 posts, 833 comments) so I've got a backup and might possibly dump all the posts out as static HTML docs. We'll see. Nothing scales better than static HTML pages.
I think all the Java bloggers abandoned me because no one left any hints as to why Google isn't caching the rest of my site. I'll go through my headers and see if there's some way to pretend these pages are permanent.
