Spring is Coming to Madrid
Well, it's a bit early, I think, to announce that Winter has passed and the we're into Spring free and clear, but that last couple of weeks have had some really nice days. Then walking to work this morning I saw this tree lit up by the morning sun and decided to stop for a sec and take a pic. I was actually talking to Ana at the time, but it was so quick she didn't even notice the pause really. "Hold on" "What?" "Nothing, got it."
The last two winters here in Madrid have SUUUUCKED. Rain from November until May. All the locals swear on a stack of Bibles that this isn't normal, but so far it's been 2 winters to 1 in favor of crappy weather. But To see signs of Spring already makes me VERY happy.
I so much more productive when I'm happy.
