Wow... it looks like the U.S. finally has a place to pick up those rock-on new phones without having to resort to the wilds of eBay. I was reading this detailed review of the 6600 (lots o screen shots - why does ScreenTaker look so bad on the 6600? I'll have to see if I can copy over the app that's on the N-Gage to see if that works any better...) when I read about this site called GSM Phone Source.
Very cool! They have the 6600 for the same price I paid for mine, but it's probably not from Hong Kong like mine is (which sucks - no Spanish T9 for messages to my wife) and they have hard to find phones like the SonyErisson P900, the Treo 600 and the even the SonyEricsoon Z600. This is all very cool.
Not that I'm in the market for a new phone right now, but it's nice to know that in a few months when I'm jonesing for the next toy, I'll have a place to go here in the U.S.
Update: Some asshole left me a post today noting that there have been several sources available for this stuff for several years now. Oops. I didn't know that. Too bad the slimy, stupid fuckhead was too much of a coward to leave his name or even be polite, otherwise I would've thanked him.
