I'm hanging out at home as per usual for Saturday, but Miker is out at the bars having a good time and SMSing me. I decided what he needed was a conversation starter to meet chicks so I put together the Fastest Mobile Service Ever Created, and threw it up online in literally 5 minutes. I took the 86 Rules of Boozing, divided them up into a list and use them to respond to SMS queries: Just send a text to 41411 with the keyword BENDER, and you'll get one of the 86 rules back. Perfect for starting conversations while bar hopping!

Of course this is all thanks to TextMarks - since it's so easy to register a keyword and link it to a page or script hosted on your own website. I used their stuff a while ago when they first launched, but Miker reminded me about them again yesterday and it turns out they've added a few new features and services since I last played with their APIs. I also added a new daily link service for Mowser, and it's insanely easy. The only drawback is that it's US only (for now?), but other than that it's cool as hell.
