There's some neat discussions going on in the JavaBlogSphere about Velocity... Cool.
A cup of Joe has a quick and dirty Velocity overview and a small rant. Joe's Jelly has a really good tip and code for changing the default display behavior for velocity variables, in response to Anthony's post about it.
And I really liked James' Memes post which explain in a simple phrase what Jelly and Maven are ("Executable XML" and "Reusable Project Wizards" consequetively). Very nice. I've said before that Maven bewilders me and Jelly is a close second. This helps. ;-)
