A shiny new Apple? Nope.
I have a friend who saw my moanings about my computer and my lustings for MacOSX on my blog and he sent me an email about a connection he has at Apple where I could get an overstock iBook for about 30% off the normal price. OOOOOHHH. I tried to sell the idea to Ana, and actually it looked for a moment that if I pushed I might have been able to get it, but the she guilted me about the apartment (we need a new one) and savings and the baby and all that responsibility stuff, so I agreed to pass until we've built up a bit more in reserve.
Bleh! Back to fighting with Win2k and Linux. Damn, and I was really jonesing to play with iCal.
