I don't know where the sunbeams end...

My subscription to the new Napster has been making me very happy and *well* worth the $9.99 a month it costs to listen to all their music. I've especially been enjoying their "Adult Alternative" radio station which has been introducing me to a bunch of music that I really like, but hadn't heard before. (Side note: "Adult Alternative" seems like such an oxymoron, no? At least there's no Brittany...)

The other day the Flaming Lips album "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" passed through the stream, specifically the song "Fight Test" and it stopped me dead. I listened to it like 10 times in a row. The other songs on the album are pretty good as well, but that one song stuck in my brain. Actually, after listening to the words closely, it seems like a justification for war which is bad. But the chorus rocks...

The other thing is the lithographs from the album are amazing. Check out the album cover above, it's like that. I checked out their site and there's a set of them which are just awesome. I may have to whip out the credit card and get one.

"Oh Yoshimi! They don't believe me!"
