Guess Who's Home?

Ana and Alex got in around 10 p.m. last night and had an uneventful flight. Ana passed through customs with no problems in New York and will be getting her "green card" in a few months in the mail. Alex seems to be getting used to international travel (what a kid - he's flown more miles before he's 2yo than I flew before I was 25) so he took a nice long sleep on the plane, which was nice for Mom as well as she could relax and not have to be entertaining him the entire time.

Of course, when Alex arrived in the apartment, it was about 8 a.m. European Time, so he was happy as a clam to run about rediscovering all the toys he left behind. Oh-oh! It took a few hours before he was ready to take a "nap" again. I got to bed at 3 a.m. Oof.

Anyways, nice to wake up this morning and have a bustling family around again. Coffee was already made, Sesame Street was blaring, a peanut-butter toast was half eat on the table and various toys strewn about. You get the idea.

Ahh... home.
