Update: 1.8 Billion Mobile Subs
I just saw a blurb about the latest mobile subscriber numbers over at the Mobile Messaging Solutions blog. We're at 1.8 billion mobile subs, and China has crossed over the 400 million mark. The top four growing countries are BRIC: Brazil, Russia, India and China.
Even with most industrialized countries at saturation levels, it still looks like we're easily on pace to break 2 Billion mobile subs by the end of the year. Very nice. I like to keep up with the latest stats to repeat in my incessant ad naseum blabbering evangelism.
