I just woke up and saw that it's now public that Marc Davis has joined Yahoo! to run a media lab up in Berkeley. I've been a huge fan of Marc's since he gave his incredible presentation to Mobile Monday back in February (here's the audio), and it turned out that he also had quite a few admirers already in Yahoo! as well. The Yahoo! Search Blog has more info about Marc and what he's going to be doing.

I was asked to "interview" Marc and it was really just me begging him to come on board to Yahoo! "Duuuuude! You totally rock! You *have* to come work here!" And it turns out he did, and brought some great people along with him as well. Very cool!
